In
Chainsaw Spaceman, Hoskins and Breen have created a bold fusion
of character-driven short stories broken up with both random and
eclectic segments of razor-sharp sketch comedy. Hoskins and Breen
give us glimpses into the lives of recurring characters by probing
such themes as manipulation, gossip, miscommunication and worship.
Travelling from Shakespeare to Led Zeppelin, from Mamet to Mystikal
audiences will bear witness to and recognize themselves in scenes
including:
Ron
and Gary, two honest, hard-working log truckers; jealously between
space lab rats; confused gunfighters; Uncle Wallys challenges
of aging in a technological society.
